Our Services
What We Do
Blog
We will explore The 5 Needs by staying curious, bringing helpful ideas specific to Moms, Teachers and Friends, and Mental Health Professionals. Learning to identify the needs we share, can help build compassion, understanding, and acceptance of our self and others.
Teachers and mental health professionals will find exploration with what has been done with The 5 Needs in schools, therapeutic settings and in homes with families. Real life stories. Explanations. Explorations. Curiosity. Examples of “how to” implement The 5 Needs mindset and projects.
Moms will find encouragement, compassion, and understanding from a Mom, Grandma, and other women who have "been there, and done that." Some may still be in the midst of life with young ones, or grown children who have disabilities. Life as a Mom is a wonderful gift, at times challenging too. The Blog will be a friendly place to stop for a bit.

Educational Materials
Workbooks. Guides. and PDF Downloads will be offered. These can be used with individuals, in classes, or groups. The projects can be used as assignments for “extra credit” for students. Much of the work with The 5 Needs can be assimilated into academic too. The connection with Social Emotional Learning and academics can be interesting and fun. We learn what we are most interested in and The 5 Needs can help students practice reading, writing, math and research at developmentally appropriate levels.
Easy to use “Morning Meeting” guides with topics and questions. Project Based Learning guides; Monthly Discussion guides; “How to guides” for classes and groups using The 5 Needs mixed with academics. In therapeutic settings, the workbooks can provide something for people to take home and use long after your time together is completed as a reminder of what they learned while working with you. Sometimes, “therapy homework” can be created using The 5 Needs, as well as many creative expressive therapeutic activities.

Trainings
We can provide trainings showing your team on how to use The 5 Needs in your work environment. This can be helpful in residential settings and counseling organizations. The 5 Needs can be a supplement to the work you do “in- home” therapy as well as traditional work with individuals and families too. Using The 5 Needs, encourages creativity in your work, using additional creative and artistic work can add value to what you are doing and help it “stick.” The research is showing more than “talk therapy” is needed is many cases. We can also use The 5 Needs as a guide to learn important information within the family history, and current life, of each person you get to work with in various settings. We can provide consultation to determine if The 5 Needs will benefit your organization and those you serve. All meetings are virtual at this time.
Materials are being prepared to offer on this site and will be available in the near future, If you need to make an appointment for consultations, trainings, or any help, please contact Wendy!
